Lake Geneva, Wisconsin artist Caryn Leverence-Rothschild has had a love for the arts from a very early age when she began painting anything that had a surface! She enjoyed welding with her dad in the basement of her childhood home and creating sculptures out of metal, plexiglass and epoxy.
Ms. Leverence now enjoys a wide variety of art mediums, but presently focuses mainly on acrylics. Caryn’s fascination with contrasting colors and visual textures las led some observers to state how the colors and shapes ‘dance on the canvas’. Her inspiration comes from life experiences, a walk down memory lane, natural surroundings, and a little bit of Rock and Roll!
Ms. Leverence holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in studio art. After college, she worked in art therapy in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, taught art classes, and sold her paintings in Southern Wisconsin. Since then, Caryn continued to stay active in the local community and currently teaches multiple art classes at a local high school.
Caryn holds a bachelor’s degree in Studio Art at Northern Illinois Univesity and maintains an archive of portfolios spanning decades all while raising four children.
